La Duquesa Golf Course
La Duquesa Golf Course, is the only golf course in Manilva and central to its golf community. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, this 18-hole course is situated near Duquesa port. It offers great value with green fees starting at €40 in low season and €45 in high season, or €65 with a buggy. The practice area provides 16 balls for €1, and there's an affordable set lunch menu at the on-site restaurant.
While previously criticized for greens and tees quality, improvements are ongoing. Positive feedback from golfers praises its value, with one TripAdvisor calling it “the best value walking course on the coast” and another saying “We love it – greens are excellent and the green staff are doing an excellent job.” Memberships are available, and the clubhouse hosts events year-round. If the younger members of the family also want to have a go at golf, a fun way to do it is to visit the Roman Oasis Mini Golf Course in Manilva. It’s open from May to the end of October, has a bar and a kids’ play area and a small menu to enjoy too. Not for the serious golfer, but good fun for sure.

Within just a 20-minute drive from Manilva village you have four fantastic golf courses, heading in the direction of Estepona.
Doña Julia Golf Club is near the border of Manilva and Casares, just minutes from La Duquesa. Designed by Antonio Garrido, this par 71, 18-hole course offers stunning views and is rated 8.35 by visitors. It's slightly pricier than La Duquesa, with green fees at €70 in low season and €80 in high season, including buggy. Special offers are available for early bird and twilight sessions.
LeadingCourses.com praises its quality, noting the scenic front seven holes with sea views and challenging yet fair layout. Fairways are pristine, greens are spacious, making it an excellent value course suitable for all golfer levels.
Finca Cortesin
Finca Cortesin is located in Casares, just a few minutes’ drive from Manilva and is consistently rated as one of Spain’s very best golf courses. It’s so prestigious that it has hosted the Volvo Match Play Championship three times and is the 2023 official venue of the Solheim Cup, welcoming some of Europe’s and America’s best golfers this September.
Finca Cortesin golf club is an 18-hole championship golf course, designed by Cabell B. Robinson with a 5* experience and top-notch service. The fairways and greens are always in optimal condition and the setting is stunning too. Finca Cortesin is ranked second place by LeadingCourses.com in the Top 10 Golf Courses in Spain and is called “outstanding”. Of course, all this excellence doesn’t come cheap and green fees are €320, including buggy.

A little further along the coast from Casares you’ll find two great golf courses in Estepona.
Estepona Golf is an 18-hole course which claims to offer an “unforgettable game” and you can play 9 or 18 holes. There are offers for packs of Green Fees and Twilight Sessions for 55€ for green fee and buggy.
Valle Romano has an impressive 18-hole golf course designed by Cabell B. Robinson, which is recommended for being well maintained, challenging yet not too difficult, with significant elevation changes and memorable holes. They also have a driving range and practice bunker.
